After many years working as a practicing artist under the name BK DIECI in Sydney Australia, Brooke Krumbeck began exploring wearable fashions that soon evolved into the label Brookinha. Brooke was raised exploring the beaches and bushlands on the South Coast of NSW and rural regions of Sydney's Hills District. As the years passed, Brooke's passion for nature, exploring and creative pursuits only grew stronger as she experimented with different mediums.
BROOKINHA IS BURSTING WITH COLOUR, INTRICATELY DESIGNED AND FLOWING WITH A CALM ENERGY THAT EXPRESSES FREEDOM AND BEAUTY.
Brooke not only wants to create bespoke pieces that incorporate her own original and vibrant textile designs, but also weave tales about natural environments with particular attention to endangered flora and fauna. Each piece comes with detailed information behind the design and the reasons why particular plants and animals have been featured to raise awareness in the community.
The collections are designed to be soft, delicate and flow with your movement.
There are even some planned in the future to feature Brooke's alter ego BK DIECI that are sensual, complex and possess hints of seductive auras.
Brookinha is ethically hand-made in Australia from natural fibre fabrics that have been printed and sourced locally. Our printing partner is environmentally conscious working with non-toxic, solvent free and water based pigment inks, which we love!
